Dr. Mark Smith
Dr. Smith is a serial entrepreneur, having founded and exited multiple Life Sciences companies. He is the Innovator-in-Residence for MedStar Health following his term as the Director of the MedStar Institute for Innovation (MI2). His graduate work under Alan Kay (A.M. Turing Laureate) at Stanford focused on network theory and what is now termed predictive analytics. He received his mathematics degree from Swarthmore. His clinical career has been focused on wellness and emergency medicine.
